Bennett Career Institute is a family owned business which was incorporated in the District Of Columbia on August 29, 1996. BCI is owned by Joyce A. Bennett, Chet A. Bennett, Roberta A. Bennett, and Robert L. Bennett Jr.


Mr. Chet A. Bennett serves as the founder, Vice President, and Chief Executive Officer of BCI. He earned his BA in Religion from Morehouse College and holds a Masters Degree in Educational Administration and Supervision from Howard University. With more than 32 years of experience in the cosmetology and barbering industry, Mr. Bennett brings extensive expertise to his role.

Featuring spacious classrooms, lockers and locker rooms, as well as elegant senior cosmetology and barber styling clinics, students under supervision offer hair, skin, and nail services. Limited off-street parking is available, along with access to a nearby Colonial parking garage situated on the corner of 7th St and Monroe St. Conveniently located just half a block from the Brookland Metro Station (Red Line), BCI offers accessibility and convenience to its community.
